Symposium venue is located on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, which is well-known as a very beautiful and lovely place. The quiet atmosphere is guaranteed to provide us the best place to have fruitful discussions on the topic of scale modeling. Attendees are welcomed to stay at the venue, which have a special rate for symposium attendees (more detail, see belows).
Hilton Kauai Beach Resort is a 4-star hotel on Kauai Island and a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the symposium as well as the perfect view.
DIRECTIONS:
(1) From the airport, transportation is available to hotel on a request-basis. At the Lihue Airport, the courtesy phone is available to dispatch the shuttle directly to the hotel. Also shuttle can deliver you to the airport from the hotel upon request.
(2) By car: The Hilton Kauai Beach Resort is located on the eastern side of the island of Kauai on 25 lushly landscaped oceanfront acres adjacent to Kuhio Highway 56, five minutes north of the Lihue airport and 10 mintues north of the town of Lihue.
(3) Available Airlines: Some direct connections are available from west-coast (e.g., Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc.), however, most of the airlines directed to Kauai Island are from the Honolulu airport.

Please remember you should identify yourself as attendee to ISSM6 upon booking, otherwise above special rate is not applied.
The hotel will require a one-night room deposit plus applicable taxes at the time each individual attendee's reservation is made. Deposit may be made by company or personal check or by credit card.
